Profile Library

The DroneDeploy Robotics Portal comes with several default Robot Profiles, including profiles defined for ROS and MAVLink based robots.

You may import these default profiles into your project as needed by clicking the "Add Profile" button and selecting "Library" as the source.

After importing a profile from the library, you can customize it to suit your specific requirements.

Keeping Profiles Updated

The library profiles are periodically updated to include new features and improvements.

To ensure you have the latest version of a profile, you can re-import it from the library as a new profile. This allows you to compare the new version with your existing profile and manually merge any changes as needed.

You can switch robots to the updated profile once you are satisfied with the changes.
